Assignments

I'm most excited for the assignments that involve storytelling. I think it'll be a fun challenge. I'm also intrigued to see what my classmates will be creating as well. I haven't been apart of a course that encourages commenting in this capacity-- it's a nice change! In regards to extra credit, I haven't had opportunities like this. I'm looking forward to seeing where the semester will take me and what I can reflect on at the end.

As someone who writes frequently, I find it difficult to write about myself, but I will do my best! My name is pronounced like ‘Riley’ and I’m a criminology major. My most frequently asked question is, “Do you want to be a cop?” Nope! Having studied the criminal justice system so intensely, I’ve decided I’d rather not have a career in it. Week 9 Story: The Best Archer

A trail of crimson ran down Ekalavya’s hand and onto the dirt. The boy used his free hand to apply pressure to the new wound, his thumb now missing. Drona looked down at Ekalavya, stone-faced, as emotionless as he could be. He was mildly surprised that the young archer had completed such a serious request with no refusal.
